Christy Del Regno
Christy Del Regno is the Enterprise Head of University / Diversity Recruiting at CVS Health, the nation’s premier health innovation company helping people on their path to better health. She has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience as an HR generalist and specialist spanning Fortune 20 companies, including General Mills, Pepsi, and Johnson & Johnson, and has held multiple senior leader positions in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition at CVS Health for the last 10 years.
Del Regno is the 2018 recipient of the prestigious Peter C. Thorp Corporate Leadership Award & the 2019 recipient of the Corporate Pacesetter Award from Consortium for superior leadership in diversity recruiting, the winner of 4 CVS Breakthrough Awards and in 2018 was featured in Ivy Research annual D&I report for her leadership of CVS’s first Externship Program. Through her leadership, CVS Health was recognized in the Vault Best Internships in 2017 & 2018 and improved 23 spots on the Diversity Inc. Top 50 list from 2017 to 2019. She is a regular speaker at University & Diversity events and was a speaker at the ERE National 2019 conference, speaking about best in class campus recruitment strategies that can be applied across any company or industry.
Throughout her career, Del Regno has led the people agenda for acquisitions, mergers, and reorganization initiatives. She is the National Co-Chair for CVS Health’s Women Inspiring Success and Excellence (WISE) colleague resource group of 7,500+ members. Additionally, she serves as a member at large of The Consortium (a nonprofit alliance of top-tier business schools and corporate partners dedicated to increase the number of underrepresented minorities in business education and corporate leadership), Amos House (a non-profit dedicated to helping people help out of homelessness and poverty, and Babson MBA College, where she advises on results driven HR policies and strategies.
Del Regno earned her MA in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota, her SPHR certificate and HR leadership certificate from the Corporate Executive Board.
Commitment to Diversity: Del Regno was passionate about diversity recruiting before it became a key performance metric for companies. She improved Latino hiring by 11% at General Mills, and most recently improved female VP hires at CVS by 18% and racial/ethnic diversity of college hires by 17%.
